Harpers Market Update – February Results & March Movement

February has been a defining month for Harpers.

We’re proud to share that the team successfully sold $10,337,000 worth of property and listed a further $8.9 million in new homes throughout the month. In a market that continues to shift, these results reflect momentum, strategy, and the trust our clients place in us.

A Standout Sale – Farnborough (Circa 1855)

One of the highlights of the month was the sale of Farnborough, originally built in 1855 by Archie Young for Louise Throsby.

This landmark transaction reinforces a clear message: high-end luxury buyers searching for something truly special are still active and decisive.

While broader market sentiment fluctuates, prestige properties with history, architecture and irreplaceable character continue to command strong interest and competitive outcomes.

Market Conditions – A Clear Shift

• A reduction in aspirational 'weekender-style' buyers

• Increased activity from 'need to buy' and 'need to sell' clients

• Greater focus on value, quality, and long-term positioning

The emotional, lifestyle-driven purchaser has softened slightly. The practical, timing-driven purchaser has strengthened.

This creates opportunity — particularly for vendors who are aligned with the current market and prepared to meet genuine demand.

March Outlook – Easter Momentum

As we move toward the Easter selling season, we are preparing to launch some truly exceptional properties across the Southern Highlands.

Our goal is clear:

• Surpass February’s $10.3M in sales

• Push toward $15M in sales for March.

Buyer enquiry levels are stabilising, and serious purchasers remain engaged — especially for well-priced, well-presented homes with strong fundamentals.

A Milestone for Harpers

Since inception, Harpers has now achieved 25 sales — a significant milestone for our growing boutique agency.

We are also proud to share that Jacob McKinnon secured the top spot as the number one agent for February, measured by total sales revenue.

Harpers has gone from strength to strength — and we’re only just beginning.
